What we handle

VA disability compensation

VA compensation pays a monthly, tax-free benefit for injuries and illnesses connected to your service, rated by how much they affect you now.

A claim needs three things: a current diagnosis, an event or exposure in service, and a medical link between them. Most denials miss the link. Our attorneys are accredited by the VA, and we know where the records are kept, which exams to ask for and how to read a rating decision line by line.

Questions

VA disability questions we hear most

I already have a rating. Can I ask for more?

Yes. If a condition has gotten worse, you can file for an increase, and you can claim new conditions caused by ones already rated.

Is it risky to ask for an increase?

A new exam can, rarely, lower a rating that isn't protected. We look at your file and tell you the risk before you file anything.

Does it cost anything?

No. Our help is free, and the VA doesn't charge to file a claim.
